Silver Spring, Maryland 301-526-6899 Good Luck Cats had its beginnings in an office complex near Good Luck Road down the street from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. It started with one person taking in a dumped tabby cat crying in the parking lot. The cat was covered with fleas and ticks and had a bite wound that was not healing. The rest is history.... We are caring cat lovers who cannot resist trying to help the innocent little furballs who make our world more pleasant! We adopt out rescued cats and kittens once they have had veterinary care and are ready for a permanent home. We are not a pet shelter - we foster the cats in our homes. |

Please don't hold this against us - we get calls about so many pets being given up in addition to all of the feral and stray cats we work with, so when we adopt out, Pets - Part of the family....

We have an application process and an adoption fee of $115 which helps to offset medical costs. (We also take donations, as usually these costs are well above $115 for any one cat!) You must sign a contract which lets us know that you are looking for a pet to be part of your family, not just a possession. We work with you to find a good match for you/your family and living situation, and we teach you how to introduce your new buddy to his or her new family, especially if it includes other pets!
